When looking for a provider to support you in delivering quality English programmes for your customers, you need to be confident that the provider has quality staff. And that means all the staff – the managers, the teachers, activity leaders and pastoral staff, who all contribute to the happiness and safety of a child’s stay. They all play a major role in motivating students and in helping build their self-esteem and confidence, especially during their most impressionable years. Ensuring programmes have the right staff to support this growth is essential for a good provider.

We at Ardmore ensure we provide students with the best time they can possibly have by recruiting a huge number of carefully chosen seasonal staff members to create a fun and productive, safe and secure environment to support learning.

Many of our staff members work in similar roles during the academic year, so they bring an abundance of experience to their role, and this helps strengthen the team as they share good practice and ideas from their diverse experiences. From activity manager to course directors, at Ardmore we encourage our staff to work together and share their wide range of experiences to create an atmosphere perfect for student learning.

Auriol, who has worked for Ardmore since 2015, says, “They look after you, and keep training their staff to improve you as a staff member.”

Donal, who has worked for Ardmore since 2010 roughly says, “Big family community vibe with staff all year round. We go back and see the same faces so love the continuity; the program is constantly changing and being developed, and the teachers get a big impact, and share lots of their experiences for our off-season activities. Meeting a lot of new young teachers, we all teach each other new ways and techniques. It’s very fluid and it changes to suit the situation and we adapt to meet the situations. We get to meet so many new cultures and nationalities.”

The English Language Programmes are delivered by teaching staff that are always looking for improvements and new imaginative ways to help their students learn, so the learning environment will never be stagnant and will ensure a better overall experience.

When your students are on-site, not only are they taught by talented and experienced staff members, but also by staff that bring their passions and interests to their work and are happy to discuss with students outside of the lessons and activities, creating a more immersive experience for the students. Marcus, Activity Leader at Ardmore since 2019, shared this: “My favourite activity to lead is football. I’m the most passionate about this as I have an interest in the sport and feel I can get really involved not only in the sport, but all the conversations that take place during the activity, helping the kids to better grasp the language.”

Our staff work hard to provide the best quality English language lessons for your students while they are with us. They use experience, interests, and passion to discover new ways that they can help engage students outside of the classroom and broaden their language studies through activities and sports. When you send your students to Ardmore, you know they will be in good hands with enthusiastic people, determined to help young minds meet the world.
